Frankie Barranco began leading worship regularly for churches as a teenager and released an EP at 18 years old before taking a break from pursuing music professionally. After seven years, she released new music with her “Still” EP that captured some of her personal journey with grief.
After taking a job as a worship director at a local church in Nashville, Barranco was inspired to write music specifically for the community she served.
She worked with writer/producer Daniel Jason Ross to release “Hear My Cry” which was added to playlists such as New Music Friday Christian and Hits UP. She followed that release with two more worship songs - “Call to Mind” and “Daily Hymn” - the latter of which was co-written with David Leonard.
In 2021, she signed a publishing deal with Centricity Publishing (Centricity Worship) to continue writing songs for the church as well as other pop and sync projects, released under Frankie Orella and Rigbie.
